The winds have come

Normally, In Valle this time of year the winds are not too strong. But this year has been all over the place in terms of weather. The last few days, we have had some strong winds which have produced rougher conditions and lots of drama near launch. The convergence has been strong but it has been pushed further South near launch and the Penon with lowish cloudbases. The World's pilots are just getting warmed up and I am winding down. My month trip is over and its back to reality. I am ready, I had a great comp, tour, and well-rounded flying conditions with all my old friends and new ones. Its been a great start to a new year. Hopefully, next year will hold many more good times and experiences with new and old friends down here in this paragliding mecca. A different wind has come and I am gone. Adios for now. SM
