Hyak Speed Flying

The last few days Ive been Speed flying at Hyak. No free lunch here, you have to skin up or boot pack to the top and earn your runs. There's only about 1100ft vertical but this is still enough time to make some nice touch and goes and huck yourself over the trees before coming in to land. Its wide open on landing and thats where you can skim around and bank some nice turns low to the ground. Speed flying is a blast, just need an easier way to gain some more vertical, skinning up keeps it honest though. M. Cone was my partner today. SM
