Another 45 minute hike up to launch and then the wait for it to get good. Strong thermic gusts on launch today but nice. One twist up and tree landing from 300ft over but he was ok. Another fold up behind launch and long reserve ride down. After launching and scratching around that is typical right now I managed to get near 10,0000 and then head over the back where I found another ratty thermal but then nothing after that and long glide over the dump to Jovan where I landed by myself for once. No kids to help me pack up. But the evening flight was sweet! Blowing upwards of 18mph on launch but thermals were gpood. I headed to the Penon cliff and got there low but scratched the face and then hooked in and climbed out 3500ft to cloudbase. Awesome! Anyhow, its getting more crowded here, but Meredyth, Randy, Gordon and I have been having a blast. Tequilla and Sangrita at night and then hike it off in the morning. Wish we were staying longer...Sorry no pics yet, my cable is not working on the Mac.

Hey Stefan, sounds like fun. Looks like you will be clearing out before the Monarca crowds gets there? It warmed up and rained a lot here, melting quite a bit of the good snow up in the mountains. Possible flying in a few days. Check in when you get back for Vol Bivouc planning! Regards/Rinker
